Mind Up for Life


Mind Up For Life

Free two-part series to support adult well-being in the K-12 education system, developed through the Government of BC and the Ministry of Education and Child Care.  Part 1 of MindUP for Educators: The Science and Practice of Self-Care and Mindful Teaching introduces the research and science on well-being and mindful teaching through the lens of MindUP’s four pillars—neuroscience, mindful awareness, positive psychology, and social and emotional learning (SEL). Part 2 is designed to promote well-being and build resilience.

Behaviour In the Early Years


Behaviour in the Early Years

Free course that aims to create a shared understanding of children’s behaviours within early learning settings. After completing the four modules, learners will be equipped with strategies to work with diverse groups and support all children and behaviours. This course is approximately 10 hours and upon completion, participants will receive a certificate.

Free anti-racism course, Learning To Be Anti-Racist, designed for all employees working in school districts and school across the province of BC.

This online course includes seven modules focused on racism, anti-racism, human rights, privilege, bias, stereotypes, microaggressions and interrupting racism. It is a tool for employees of B.C.'s education sector to support professional learning. It is not part of the K-12 Provincial Curriculum, nor is it a curriculum resource for classroom use.
