Gifted Program
A Gifted Resource Teacher is a consultative, itinerant teacher who is responsive to the needs of the learner with gifted abilities:

to ensure the provision of appropriate educational programming, experiences, activities, and guidance for gifted students |
|
to provide for the needs of the whole child in affective education (human and social development) as well as cognitive education (intellectual development) |
|
to enable the unfolding of individual potential |
Identification/Assessment:
No single criterion should be established for entry into, or exclusion from, services for students with gifted abilities. Assessment should be carried out using instruments which permit evaluation of performance against multiple criteria.
