Our mission is to enable learners to achieve their individual potential and to become healthy, productive citizens of a global society.

In November, 2010, grade 9 students participated in the "Be The Change" workshop at Osoyoos Secondary School. A special thanks to Leona Tank, for running this incredible workshop and for the generous contribution from the Soroptimist Association of Osoyoos.

Purpose of the Be the Change workshop is to increase personal power and self-esteem, to shift dangerous peer pressure to positive peer support and to eliminate the acceptability of teasing, violence and all forms of oppression.  This day is designed to unite the students of the school and to empower them to carry the themes of the program back to the greater school population.  We hope to successfully address the issues of violence, teasing, social oppression, racism, harassment, conflict management, suicide, peer pressure, alcohol and drugs.

Be The Change will not be running during the 2010-2011 school year but will return next year!
