Okanagan Similkameen School District is located in a rural area of south- central British Columbia in Canada. It's four communities of Oliver, Osoyoos, Okanagan Falls and Keremeos are close to the U.S.A./Canadian border. It is five hours to Vancouver by car while a major airport is forty-five minutes away in Penticton. |

The unique desert climate, mountains and lakes make for an ideal playground for summer water sports and winter snow skiing. Winters are mild and short while summers are hot and long. Vineyards and orchards make these pocket valleys an excellent learning environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. |
